LOUVRE WASHING
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING
Ideally you should clean your louvres in a bath. Alternatively a large sink or bowl may be used. Care must to taken AT ALL TIMES to avoid creasing the fabric.
Preparation
Before removing the louvres from the blind unclip the chains at the bottoms of the louvres and slide out the weights. Unhooks the louvres from the track, taking care not to crease them.
Washing
Gently hand wash the louvres one at time using warm water and a mild proprietary detergent. Rinse by repeating the process in warn, clean water. Several rinses may be required to remove all traces of detergent.
Drying
Hang the louvres out of direct sunlight and allow them to drip-dry. They should not be hung indirect sunlight until they are perfectly dry.
DO NOT IRON
Hang the louvres on the track and replace the weights and chains. |
